Nooksack Indian Tribe, Twenty-five Home Development: Designed to be constructed by and occupied by members of the Nooksack Indian Tribe. Simplicity and efficiency was the primary request of tribal members leading this project. The twenty-five home project required site placement and building plans that maximized the limited site area and simplified the construction process. Designed to be resilient and energy efficient, concrete filled foam panels were specified to provide for solid housing stock that could easily be constructed while being efficient consumers of heating fuel.
